The lanai, pool area, cabana and summer kitchen at my home are all inside a big ass screened enclosure.
But the pool guy left one of the doors open the other day and a bird flew in.
This poor bird was freaking out.
He kept frantically flying around bashing his little head into different parts of the screened enclosure looking for a way out.
I imagined the bird thinking the following:
“I can SEE the outside… but every time I fly towards it, I bang my head on some strange invisible barrier. Whatever this force field is, it’s preventing me from going where I want to go.”
I watched this little show from inside and chuckled.
The bird was freaking out too much to notice that the pool guy was holding the door to freedom open for him. So he just kept banging his head in frustration while freedom was just a few feet away.
Kinda reminds me of many entrepreneurs and wannapreneurs I know.
They’re trying to go somewhere… but they keep banging their head on an invisible barrier.
If they would only take a minute to look around, they’d see that there’s someone trying to guide them to the open door that will take them to freedom.
And that someone is me.
Click here to discover the door to freedom, little birdie.
All the best,
Doberman Dan
