I used to think I had to put off doing what I really wanted to do until I made a certain income.
I was wrong.
Sure, enjoying the freedom and financial independence that having a “Doberman Dan style” business provides you helps a lot.
But it ain’t necessary.
I could have done what I really wanted to do (my true passion) all along.
I thought I needed to have the right person(s)/relationship(s) in my life to be complete.
I was wrong.
I was born complete.
I thought I needed to “arrive” — whatever that means — before I could be happy.
I was wrong.
I COULD have been happy all along.
I just chose not to be.
And what a MASSIVE mistake that was.
Cuz I’m not EVER getting that time back. Time I COULD have been happy.
Listen… I know you have goals.
I know you have dreams.
I get it. You’re either growing or you’re dying. (Sadly, 95% are dying. By choice.)
So growth… dreams… goals… it’s all good.
Necessary, in fact.
But don’t put life on hold thinking you’ll live when you’ve “arrived.”
Live now.
You’ll NEVER “arrive.” It’s all just a journey.
And you can enjoy it and be happy NOW.
All the best,
Doberman Dan
P.S. Gotta tell ya… being free of a J-O-B and a boss gives you a lot more time to enjoy life. (Did you know “boss” spelled backwards is “double SOB?”)
If you’re not financially free it doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy life now.
But financial independence gives you a lot more options about how you spend your time.
If you can cover your nut only working a few hours a week… you can spend all that extra free time doing whatever the heck you want.
And THAT is an amazing feeling.
It’s FREEDOM.

Pax vobiscum.
