“On 8/19 I dropped 26,000 tear sheets for my product. As of today the MER for that campaign is 5! And they are still coming in – but almost done.”
Let me explain the significance of this.
MER means “media efficiency ratio.” It’s the return on ad spend.
So a 5 MER means that for every dollar Kevin invests in his promotion, he gets back $5 in sales.
So the $10k he invested in this campaign produced $50,000 in sales.
