A few weeks ago, I offered a product that shows how to be a marketing consultant to local businesses.
BTW, since even a half-assed motivated person can quickly create a six-figure income with this — ESPECIALLY under the current economic conditions — I sold it waaaaayyyyyy too cheap. And I’m correcting that. Soon it will ONLY be offered as an area exclusive license with personal training and support from me. Basically like a Doberman Dan consultancy franchise. And it will now be $12,000… or more.
Anyhoo… in that program I recommend that you work with businesses that sell stuff at high price points.
A week or so after purchasing, one of the buyers contacted me and said that there are no high transaction businesses in his town. Therefore, “this won’t work for me.”
That’s BS for several reasons. And any intelligent person knows it.
First of all, you mean to tell me that there are no dentists, car dealers, jewelry stores, building contractors, or about 50 other businesses I could name off the top of my head that sell high ticket products or services?
BS excuse number one shot down.
However… let’s give him the benefit of the doubt. Even if that is true because he lives in a town with a population of only 39 humans, 15 dogs and 3 pigs… I bet there are other towns near him that have all those businesses.
BS excuse numero two ALSO shot down.
But here’s the thang…
I no longer waste my time trying to change someone’s viewpoint who has already made a decision that’s 100% contrary to the facts.
Why?
Because as I shared the other day…
“For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he.”
That’s how the mystics described it.
The more modern way of saying it is this:
You can’t keep a loser from losing… and you can’t keep a winner from winning.
But that sounds kinda harsh, doesn’t it? Let’s just stick with the biblical way of saying it.
In the past I tried to educate people to the fact that their mindset was guaranteeing their failure. And plenty of people who did NOT make excuses were getting flat out RICH with the exact same information.
Nowadays I don’t waste my breath.
I just have Jackie issue the refund and tag that person so they’re prohibited from buying any further offers from me.
Why?
“For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he.”
When I first started in marketing in the early 90s, the only instruction I had was Dan Kennedy’s newsletter and The Gary Halbert Letter. And I PAID for ’em even when I couldn’t afford them. (Nowadays you can get access to most of the old Halbert letters online for free.)
Which always prompts THIS question in my nutty noggin:
Why is it that lil’ ole moi and a lot of other ambitious folks who absorbed the info in the Halbert letters made CRAZY copious quantities of currency with them? While thousands and thousands of others with access to the EXACT same, word-for-word information haven’t made a single dime? And in most cases, they haven’t done a darn thing other than make BS excuses.
Why this dichotomy?
The answer is simple, my revered reader. We’ve known it for over 2,000 years…
“For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he.”
And that brings me to something that’s both URGENT and IMPORTANT:
In spite of all the scary stuff happening in the global economy right now (due to meticulously planned destruction by Satan worshiping Marxist sociopaths) some people are getting richer than Midas.
This is nothing new, by the way. In every economic downturn (and even during outright depressions and hyperinflation… coming soon to a country near you!) most people get impoverished… while some get richer than Oprah.
What’s the secret to getting rich instead of being impoverished like the majority?
Several things. The most important being, “As he thinketh in his heart, so is he.” (Sick of hearing that yet?)
There’s also another CRUCIAL element. One that us’ns (entrepreneurs and marketers) LOVE to talk about. And that’s this:
The people getting rich right now know how to create front-end offers and make ’em work to cold traffic.
So if YOU want to get rich during these turbulent times, then Step One is as obvious as the nose on Gérard Depardieu’s face:
You MUST know how to create offers that work to cold traffic.
Which is tougher (and more EXPENSIVE) these days than I’ve ever seen it in my entire 30+ year entrepreneurial career.
