I sold my bodybuilding supplement business back in January of 2012.

But I had “mentally checked out” at least 18 months prior.

I was burned out. Cuz I had been writing copy for bodybuilding products non-stop since 1995.

When I sold that biz, I told myself I would never write bodybuilding sales copy again.

Never say never, right?

Cuz I’ve been bitten by the bug again.

In other words, I want to write copy for a bodybuilding product.

For a couple reasons:

First of all, I finally got my fat ass back into shape this year. And I’ve been immersed in bodybuilding stuff.

Especially the “ole skool” courses from some of my heroes like Vince Gironda, Larry Scott, Serge Nubret and Mohamed Makkaway.

Secondly, back when I was writing bodybuilding copy, nobody could compete with me.

And I do mean NOBODY.

I hired some of the best copywriters in the world to beat my controls. (All names you would recognize.)

NOBODY could beat ’em. (I think one of those ads is STILL running, virtually unchanged since 2004.)

To hold a record like that was a huge boost to my ego.

And damn near impossible to do.

So… I wanna get my ego stroked like that again.

What does all this have to do with YOU?

Probably nut’n honey.

Unless you have a business in the bodybuilding market.

I’m currently sifting and sorting, making my final decisions… and figuring out in which order I want to write these copy gigs.
