Let’s chat about a little something I learned while whoring out my mind to the highest bidder. (AKA being a freelance copywriter.)
Until you value yourself, you can’t expect others to.
You see, there’s a neat little principle that has always proven true:
The world around you reflects the world within you.
When you set a high value on yourself, that’s what you’ll receive.
Set a low value and…
…well… you know what happens.
For example, let’s say you’re a copywriter and you decide your fee is x dollars. But somebody offers you a gig for half that amount.
SIDE NOTE: They always promise to pay on the back end. But that’s the biggest lie in the world. They NEVER pay you what they promise you on the back end. (Except Agora.)
If you take the gig, you’re saying your true value is half the amount you originally set.
And you dilute your value in the marketplace.
If you get a lower offer but you stick to your guns and
demand your true value… guess what happens.
You’ll get it.
As Harrison Ford said:
“I ask for what I want; they pay it. It’s that simple.”
You see, when you lower your value, you feel like you did something for nothing.
And that lowers your self-worth.
Which lowers your dignity.
Instead, do this:
Establish your true value in your heart and mind… and watch the world respond accordingly.
All the best,
Doberman Dan
P.S. This is just one of the LEGION of secrets I’ve learned from darn near 30 years as a serial entrepreneur.
The first 9 years being serial complete crash-and-burn failures.
I can be so bold as to say that there are darn few people with a well of knowledge that runs as deep as mine sharing these entrepreneurial and marketing success secrets.
And certainly none doing it like I do it… using my neuro-hormonal copywriting secrets to embed these lessons deep into your subconscious…
…so you actually take action on them and finally experience success.
