I can only imagine how much preparation it took to pull that event off. To say you over-delivered is a HUGE understatement.

BTW, did anybody ever tell you that you missed your true calling as a radio or TV announcer? Seriously, that is one powerful voice you've got there!

If you guys do this event again next year, I'm there.

Hey Dan, Glad you enjoyed the event. We're thinking about doing another one next year, which seemed 100% out of the question a week ago. Exhausting putting it on, but we're really happy with the way it turned out and with all of the positive feedback we've received.

Hi Brad,

I think almost every copywriter struggles from time to time, regardless of the product or market you're writing for.

Even Mark McGuire didn't get a home run every time up to bat.

I even saw the great Gary Halbert struggle on more than one occasion. I once saw him go through a slump that lasted months.

Wouldn't it be great if you could just write one great promotion and rest on your laurels for the rest of your life! It just doesn't work that way.

Great idea about the charities. Ya know, I once offered to do exactly that for a charity I believed in. They were so top heavy and bureaucratic I could never get to through to a decision maker. Oh well!

Dan, I was wondering why you were struggling at all with any promotion when you mentioned in your last post that Gary said you wrote one of the greatest fund raising letters of all time. If that's true, I would dump my supplement business and go to legit Christian organizations and offer to do fund raising for them
- no money or time on their part – for 50% of the take- less all your mailing and printing expenses.
They just provide the house list.

Sounds like you had a great time!

Ralph is a stud, I've met and worked with him before … Brad Peterson is a funny guy from what I remember, I don't even think we really talked — he was entertaining everyone at the bar at Makepeace's event … David D. and Carlton snuck off to play piano and talk about super-secret copy stuff … I wanna meet the guy that took over for all Bob's stuff, that'd be cool … you gotta love seminars eh?
