Dear Friend,
A few months ago, I found out Internet Marketer Extraordinaire, Terry Dean, had recently relocated to a town about a half hour from me.
I hit him up on e-mail and we had lunch the other day.
He’s a sharp cookie. Heck of a nice guy, too. I knew I was gonna like him.
In fact, the moment I knew I was going to like him was after reading one of his tweets. I don’t remember it word for word but it was something like this:
“Isn’t it funny that all these gurus only sell
their traffic courses through joint ventures!”
Yup. I knew I was gonna like him.
Terry shared some stuff with me that is already making me more money.
One of the most important things he told me was about email/blog marketing. He said every message should have the three “E’s”:
…Entertain…
…Educate… and…
…Earn.
He said a list that is only given free content will rebel when you start trying to sell to them.
By making an offer in every message, you condition your list to accept that they’re going to receive offers from you.
If you DON’T do that, the minute you actually DO try to sell something… you’ll have a full-fledged hostile REBELLION on your hands.
Conditioning people to only receive free content from you is a big mistake.
And it looks like I picked a big old batch of “woopsie daisies”… because that’s exactly what I’ve been doing with my DD subscriber list.
But no more.
You’re going to start getting offers from me.
Look, I can definitely relate if you can’t afford them. Been there myself numerous times.
But I’m doing you a disservice by not selling something.
After all, I’ve got a blog teaching you how to sell stuff… but I’m not selling anything!
So now you’re going to see firsthand how Doberman Dan sells something. And I hope you learn something.
Remember how I told you in my previous post to seek out the people, information and resources you need to be successful?
During our lunch, I discovered Terry Dean created an awesome resource that takes you by the hand and shows you step-by-step EXACTLY how to create a successful online information products business.
If I would’ve had a course like this when I was first getting started, it would have taken DECADES off my learning curve. And I would have made a lot more money a LOT faster.
Just one idea I discovered boosted my traffic IMMEDIATELY and DOUBLED my opt-ins. It was quick and easy to do and it didn’t cost me a dime.
Bottom line… you need this course.
I not only endorse it, I’m personally using it in two of my current ventures. I’m also going to use the step-by-step plan for a new project/market I’m just starting.
Go here now to get all the details. You’ll be glad you did.

I have this course and I love it. There is not a single minute on this audio course that’s wasted. I was introduced to the Livingstons’ here (Sharon and Glenn)… and what they reveal about Adwords and emotional marketing is worth the course itself.
Not to mention… the price is absurdly low for what you’re getting.
Colin,
That’s what I thought, too. I got more value out of this than some $2,000+ courses from the gaggle of gurus I’ve bought in the past.
Hey, see ya next week in San Diego!
Dan
Dan, you already have offered something for sale – about a month or two ago.
I considered your offer but ultimately chose not to buy only because it would have been a distraction from what I’m currently working on.
I didn’t have an urge to “rebel” simply because you made the offer though.
The difference between you and the gurus, is that I feel like you actually give a shit!
I have no problem being pitched, as long as the products are useful and not just a bunch of rehashed information.
Dan, thank you for this blog and the great information you offer on here.
Hey Bernardo,
Thanks for your support. I was worried I might have a rebellion on my hands!
And this may sound corny… but I really DO care about my subscribers. This blog is a labor of love for me and I’m honestly doing it because I care.
Thanks again.
Dan
